This week on Friday Favorites; for my first Friday Favorites with many more to come I've decided to spotlight a fellow book reviewer and her blog.
Before I even remotely touched the subject of reviewing books and publishing the reviews online, Books and Iced Coffee was one blog that I went to when I wanted to find a new book to read. After awhile I realized that I did want to get into the whole publishing reviews because it gave me an outlet for my writing other than writing fiction. Unfortunately I've been up and down with keeping up to date, and at one point I was ready to give it up altogether.
At that point I yet again visited her site looking for another book to read again and I was inspired to try again, and again, and again. And I finally prevailed. It amazes me that Books and Iced Coffee and other book reviewer blogs always have new content. As a reader looking for a review and being inspired to read a certain book because of a review, I felt inspired to do the same. I wanted to make people feel the same way.
So to Books and Iced Coffee, thank you for inspiring me and being a stepping stone on this path that I am venturing down. Had I not stumbled across your blog, I don't think I'd be blogging about boooks at this time in my life.
